The Credit Genie app includes interest-free Cash Boosts to help bridge you till your next payday. There is a recurring fee for maintaining your bank account connection with our app.

Who can use the Credit Genie app?

US residents 18 years and older can use our app.

What do you do with my information?

Credit Report Access Authorization and Consent

By clicking "Continue", you are providing written instructions to Credit Genie authorizing Credit Genie to obtain information about you from credit reporting agencies and/or other third party sources.

1. Purpose of Authorization

Credit Genie may obtain information, including your credit report and score, for purposes such as the following:

To offer you products and services;
To display your credit score and credit profile information to you within the Credit Genie platform;
To monitor your credit health and provide insights in connection with the Credit Building Tradeline product;
To provide you with personalized financial recommendations and educational information;
To assess your eligibility for credit and other financial products and services;
To administer and service a Tradeline Account or any other account you have with Credit Genie;
For testing and monitoring purposes; and
For other purposes not prohibited by law.

2. Identity Verification

You certify that the information you have provided (including Name, Date of Birth, and Social Security Number) is accurate and belongs to you. You authorize Credit Genie to use this information to verify your identity and retrieve your credit reports from credit reporting agencies and/or other third party sources.

3. Service Provider Authorization

For certain purposes articulated above, we partner with Forward Lending, Inc. d/b/a Method Financial ("Method"). You acknowledge and agree to this use of Method's services.

You authorize your wireless carrier to use or disclose information about you and your wireless device, if available, to Method or its service provider for the duration of your business relationship, solely to help them identify you or your wireless device and to prevent fraud. See Method's Privacy Policy (https://methodfi.com/legal/privacy) for how they treat your data.

You authorize Method to obtain a consumer report and information about you from one or more consumer reporting agencies ("credit pull").

You understand the credit pull is a soft inquiry that will not impact your credit score. Method will use this information solely in connection with identifying and obtaining data on your liability/debt accounts such as account number, type, balance, interest rate, payoff information, late fees, payment history, etc. ("Account Data").

You authorize and direct Method to act on your behalf to access and obtain the Account Data from your financial institutions, lenders, creditors, and service providers, or any of their third parties, and you consent to Method sharing the Account Data with us.

Your authorization, direction, and consent remains effective for the duration of your relationship with us, solely for the purpose identified above.

New York, Rhode Island, and Vermont Residents: At your request, we will tell you whether or not a credit bureau report was obtained and, if so, the name and address of the credit bureau that furnished the report.
